Farewell Frost Fest – Celebrate Spring with Lower Trent Conservation 

As winter fades and signs of spring begin to emerge, Lower Trent Conservation invites you to Farewell Frost Fest—a family-friendly event designed to celebrate the changing seasons! Join us on March 14, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Goodrich-Loomis Conservation Area, just north of Brighton. This FREE event will take place RAIN OR SHINE and offers a variety of engaging activities for all ages. 

Event Highlights: 

Guided Spring Hike (1:00 PM) – Discover the first signs of spring on a staff-led hike or explore 12 km of trails at your own pace. 

Arts & Crafts – Create nature-inspired projects to take home as a memory of the day. 

Augmented Reality Sandbox – Experience an interactive, digital display that brings landscapes to life. 

 Campfire & Treats – Warm up with free hot chocolate and enjoy marshmallow roasting by the fire. 

Farewell Frost Fest is all about Connecting KIDS with NATURE , encouraging children and families to explore the outdoors and foster an appreciation for nature. Whether you’re an avid hiker or just looking for a fun way to spend time outdoors, this event has something for everyone.
