Section 59 Application

This application is required when an activity that falls under the Planning Act, 1990, or the Building Code is proposed within a vulnerable area that is surrounding a municipal drinking water system. The application is an effective screening tool that assists the Risk Management Official in evaluating a variety of land use activities to ensure municipal drinking water sources are protected from overuse and contamination.
