Stewardship

To love a place is not enough. We must find ways to heal it.”

Robin Wall Kimmerer

The beautiful Lower Trent watershed region, with the Trent River at its heart, is an easy place to love. But our watershed needs your help to keep it that way. To be resilient in a changing climate and to reverse the loss of biodiversity, our watershed needs more healthy forests, meadows and wetlands to ensure nature can thrive. It also needs healthy agricultural soils to continue to nourish our communities. And it needs us all to care for water, nature’s greatest gift.
