Community members will create their own pollinator seed balls. |
FRI 18 | Stirling-Rawdon Public Library 10:30 am – 12:30 pm | Lower Trent Conservation’s Source Water Protection program offers hands-on, interactive learning to inspire environmental awareness. Using a 3D watershed map and models, participants explore where Stirling’s municipal water comes from and how we all help keep it clean and safe—past, present, and future. |
Sat 26 | Invasive Species Pull Day Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area 10 am – 12:30 pm | Help protect the natural beauty of Bleasdell Boulder Conservation Area! Join us for a hands-on volunteer day to remove invasive plants and support local biodiversity. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm! Gloves and equipment are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Don’t forget water and weather-appropriate clothing—rain or shine! |

Through a collection of hands-on activities and demonstrations, including the interactive AR sandbox! Learn how the water ways and the land interact together and the many roles of Lower Trent Conservation within the watershed! |

FRI 8 | Stirling-Rawdon Public Library 10:30 am – 12:30 pm | Lower Trent Conservation presents an interactive program about wetlands. Through hands-on activities, participants will discover how wetlands filter water, provide habitat for wildlife, and help prevent erosion. The program includes a water filter experiment, turtle models, and guides to explore wetland species, as well as a felt board activity featuring wetland wildlife for hands-on exploration. Additionally, there will be an erosion control demonstration. To wrap up the experience, participants will have the opportunity to reflect through themed colouring pages. |
