Among the Cedars: A Guided Forest Bathing Journey
After the rush of summer and the scramble to set new routines in September, it’s easy to step away from nature while trying to fit everything into your schedule. Yet – this is when we need nature the most, it offers us an opportunity to pause, breathe, and let the season guide us back to balance.
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-yoku, offers exactly that opportunity. By slowing down and immersing yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of the forest, you invite calm and clarity into your life just as autumn settles in.
With quiet trails, the scent of cedar, peaceful meadows and the babbling Cold creek, Goodrich-Loomis Conservation Area is a perfect spot to submerse yourself into this journey. Away from daily bustle, it provides the perfect backdrop for an immersive forest-bathing journey of reconnecting.
Join us October 18th at Goodrich-Loomis Conservation area with our very own certified Forest Bathing Guide, Raven Chartrand. This workshop is $30 per person and has limited space available. This intimate 90-minute guided journey offers far more than a simple hike. Slow your pace, awaken all of your senses, and let the forests bring your comfort and calmness. We will conclude with a cup of soothing cedar tea and time to relax beside a crackling fire—an invitation to linger in the calm you’ve discovered.
Reconnect with nature. Reconnect with yourself. This isn’t just a walk in the woods—it’s a guided journey into balance and connection.
