Lower Trent Conservation

Check Your Watershed Day

cywd.jpgCheck Your Watershed Day is a one day event where you can get your feet wet and learn first hand about your watershed. Stream crews made up of volunteers and a trained leader will be going to designated stream road crossings and taking basic measurements such as stream width, depth and flow.

2009 marked Lower Trent Conservations first year of involvement with CYWD.  Over 40 volunteers monitored 160 sites along 261 sq km of Cold Creek.
