Ontario Drinking Water Stewardship Fund
The Ontario government established the Drinking Water Stewardship Program (ODWSP) under the Clean Water Act to help property owners, farmers and small to medium-sized businesses implement best management practices for drinking water source protection.
From 2007 to 2012, a total of $28 million was allocated by the Province to protect drinking water sources across the Province. Grants were provided to help cover the costs of projects that protect municipal water supplies from contamination.
